About Sun FM
Listen to the internet radio of Sun FM Radio live, which started in 1990, originally as Wear FM, broadcasting from Sunderland. After a few name changes and ownership changes, it eventually became Sun FM and is owned by Nation Broadcasting Ltd. The broadcaster operates as a local radio station, covering mainly Sunderland, Tyne and Wear and North Durham with related news, sport, travel-traffic and weather information. The station's playlist is mainly built from the current best pop hits, but the line-up is diversified with a varied selection of greatest hits, and some of the 90’s dance hits. Sun FM vivifies the mornings on all days of the week as Simon Grundy sets the potmeters and lead the conversations from 6am to 11am on weekdays, and from 6am to 8am on Saturday and Sunday the "Weekend Breakfast" with various presenters ignites the mornings.
