Sam’s passion for radio started 30 years ago when she joined Hospital Radio Chelmsford, taking an active role in both presenting and being part of the Station Management team. She has hosted many events and can often be found on a stage either interviewing, presenting awards, or keeping the crowds entertained at local events.

My name is John Duncombe and I've lived near central Chelmsford for nearly 35 years. I bought my first record with my pocket money in 1968. I went on to buy many more throughout the 70's and 80's, but the 70's was really my favourite era for music. Such varied types of music from Motown, soul disco, country and glam rock to synth-pop, new wave and punk.

I’m Alan Chambers and I was born in Chelmsford just a stones throw from the City Sound studios and have lived in and around Chelmsford ever since, now with my wife and 4 grown up children. I am really excited therefore to be part of the team being such a great variety of programmes to the city I know so well. I have been presenting radio programmes since the early 90s which makes it even more special that I will be bringing the music of that great decade to Chelmsford every weekday in the 90s hour.
