About Erewash Sound

Listen online to the internet radio of Erewash Sound live, started by radio-expert volunteers in 2004. Erewash Sound is a local radio station, run by local people to meet the needs of the local community. Erewash Sound Radio is a not-for-profit enterprise, with dedicated and experienced volunteers. The broadcast is not advertisement-free, but almost all income is used exclusively to cover the running costs and support the further development plans of the radio. The music repertoire is a carefully selected jukebox, ranging from the 1950s to today. Besides music, the station provides local news, travel and traffic information, weather reports, national and international news, sports, competitions, chat, and interviews throughout the day. At night, specialist programmes deepen the station's variety of music styles.
