About Barnsley’s Essentials
Listen online to the internet radio of Barnsley’s Essentials live, which will officially launch on 7th September 2025 at Barnsley’s Civic Garden Gathering in Manela Gardens! Its first official broadcast will be live from this event, marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe and Victory over Japan Day. Barnsley’s Essentials exists to serve and strengthen the local community that has always supported its creation. It is a non-profit radio station, playing the best pop music from the last 40 years and broadcasting an increasing number of local programmes as the station develops.
