About Radio City 96.7
Listen to the internet radio of Radio City 96.7 live, which is owned by Bauer Radio Ltd., and member of the Planet Radio station group. The radio station is in charge of providing local programming to Liverpool and the North West region. In addition, a portion of the programme schedule consists of networked programming from Bauer's Hits Radio Network. One segment of the networked shows is "The Hits UK Chart," airing from 4pm to 7pm on Sundays. This show, led by Sam Thompson, is Bauer's proprietary chart programme featuring the top 40 hottest songs. The music lineup of Radio City 96.7 features hits from the past 15 years, playing the most popular songs, alongside talk shows, phone-ins, and updates on news, sports, travel-traffic, and weather related to Liverpool and the North West. Liverpool's mornings commence with "Radio City Breakfast with Leanne and Joel", hosted by Leanne Campbell and Joel Ross, airing on weekdays from 6am to 10am.

Bauer to change branding on the Radio City Tower in Liverpool
The Radio City Tower is set to become the Hits Radio Tower as Bauer makes plans to change the outside branding. Bauer to rebrand heritage FM stations in England and Wales to Hits Radio

Nick Ferrari picks up Gold at the IRN Awards
All the winners have been announced for the IRN Awards 2020, including the Gold Award going to LBC’s Nick Ferrari. Nick won the IRN Gold Award to mark his outstanding contribution to commercial radio news. Viewers of the online event were played a montage of Ferrari’s best interview clips in which he challenges Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, Dianne Abbott, the former Green Party leader Natalie Bennett and the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick. RAJAR Q1 2020: London and national brands roundup
BBC Radio 2 has lost almost a million listeners in the last year, according to the Q1/2020 audience research from RAJAR. The reach of the UK’s biggest radio station fell from 15.356m at the start of 2019 to 14.362m over the first three months of this year. The two biggest commercial radio networks – Heart and Capital – both lost significant reach over the 12 months too. The Heart network lost 787,000 listeners to leave a reach of 7.737m, while Capital dropped 815,000 to 6.386m. Radio City’s Dave Kelly to leave Breakfast Show
Breakfast Show co-host Dave Kelly is leaving Radio City in March to take up a full-time live show on X1071 in the Cayman Islands. Co-host Leanne Campbell is staying with the station and has just signed on for another two years at Breakfast. Dave moved to Liverpool in 2011 to be the host of Radio City’s Drive show before moving to co-host the breakfast show with Leanne in 2014. He has been hosting a daily pre-recorded show on X1071 for the last eight years and also hosts programmes on Z953 in Vancouver and Radio Essex.
