About Capital XTRA

Listen to the internet radio of Capital XTRA live, Capital FM's genre-specialised sister station. Capital XTRA radio is owned by Global Media & Entertainment Ltd. The station is the successor of Choice FM following its rebranding in 2013. As such, the broadcaster continues to build on the foundations of Choice FM and explores the future of urban dance music, modernising the broadcasting of rhythmic contemporary, especially black music. The station's main genres are hip-hop, RnB, urban, and dance. Capital XTRA sets the rhythm of the mornings with Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie from 6:30am to 10am on weekdays.
