The biggest event of the year in US politics is set to be covered live by a number of radio stations in the UK this Tuesday. Keir Starmer self-isolates after appearing on LBC

Sir Keir Starmer has announced he’s going into self-isolation shortly after broadcasting with Nick Ferrari on LBC this morning. They were both hosting the new Call Keir phone-in, which is broadcast from LBC’s new studio in Westminster. He’s self-isolating after being told a member of his household started showing symptoms of Covid. There’s a new schedule at LBC for the autumn, including a new sunday morning show with Tom Swarbrick. In Swarbrick on Sunday from 10am, Tom will focus on the political stories of the day, with knowledge from his time at No.10, which will be broadcast live from LBC’s new Westminster studios, both on radio and on video, streamed in HD. All the winners have been announced for the IRN Awards 2020, including the Gold Award going to LBC’s Nick Ferrari. Nick won the IRN Gold Award to mark his outstanding contribution to commercial radio news.
