Greg Burns moves to new Hits Radio afternoon show

Changes at Hits Radio in reaction to the coronavirus pandemic include breakfast co-host Greg Burns moving to a new afternoon show. Greg will be on-air from 1pm till 4pm across the Hits Radio network of stations replacing Hattie Pearson who is currently in the slot. Hattie will remain with the station at weekends. The station says it has evolved elements of its music programming, competitions and afternoon show to meet the changing needs of audiences and their listening patterns during the lockdown period...

Nicola Sturgeon radio special for Bauer Scotland

Bauer has secured a one-hour special with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon for broadcast across the Hits Radio and Greatest Hits networks in Scotland. The First Minister will be joining Ewen Cameron from 9am to 10am on Friday 3rd April 2020 to answer questions from listeners and to respond to their most pressing issues and concerns about COVID 19 as well as providing the latest updates on the Scottish Government’s response. Audio: Radio industry unites to thank the NHS

Radio stations all over the UK came together to thank NHS workers during the coronavirus pandemic. A mass applause, coordinated under the #clapforourcarers hashtag on social media, showed the country’s gratitude to all the nurses, doctors, GPs, carers and many others working tirelessly to help fight the virus. Bauer plans big night of radio coverage at BRITs

Nominations for the 2020 IRN Awards revealed

RAJAR Q4 2019: London and national brands round-up
