About Absolute Radio Country
Listen to the internet radio of Absolute Radio Country live, which launched in 2019 as Country Hits Radio and changed to its current name on 17th May 2021. Country Hits Radio was the first nationally available country radio in the UK. Absolute Radio Country is owned by Bauer Radio Ltd., and part of the Planet Radio station fleet. The broadcaster's music and programme structure is based on the 25-44 age group of country music lovers, and this mission is fulfilled with the following country expert presenters: Ben Earle, Elaina D Smith, Dave Berry, Baylen Leonard, Una Healy, Lou Nash, Andy Bush, Richie Firth, Matt Dyson, Matt Spracklen, DJ Hish, Glenn Moore, Emma Jones and Jennie Longdon. The station wakes the listeners up with "The Dave Berry Breakfast Show" from 6am to 10am with Dave Berry and Matt Dyson. The programme also provides fresh news packages to the listeners from Emma Jones.

RAJAR Q1 2020: London and national brands roundup
BBC Radio 2 has lost almost a million listeners in the last year, according to the Q1/2020 audience research from RAJAR. The reach of the UK’s biggest radio station fell from 15.356m at the start of 2019 to 14.362m over the first three months of this year. The two biggest commercial radio networks – Heart and Capital – both lost significant reach over the 12 months too. The Heart network lost 787,000 listeners to leave a reach of 7.737m, while Capital dropped 815,000 to 6.386m.
